Although this might be my last post about my pharmacy experience at San Jose, it will not be my last day at San Jose. I will continue to dedicate my time to this precious clinic and continue to serve and learn at the same time. This experience has been amazing and I'm glad that we have the Learning Service Project made available to UST students!

San Jose Clinic Pharmacy #10
Since we have Wednesday off from school, I decided to pull a long shift at San Jose. I guess since it was the day before Thanksgiving, many of the staffs at San Jose were off in preparation for the holiday. Sandy, the pharmacist in charge, was extremely glad to see me arrived Wednesday morning (the pharmacy was running behind on everything). There were many medications to be checked in and many patients were lining up to get their medication at the last minute before the clinic close at noon for Thanksgiving. After finishing checking everything in the Pharmacy Assistance Program. I was able to talk to Sandy and Tony about the service learning presentation. Tony and I learned that MRSA has been on the rise at the clinic this past year from Sandy and that she would love for us to do a brochure on MRSA for San Jose.
